Vliv demografického vývoje na základní školství

Abstract

The topic of the thesis is the impact of demographic trends on basic education. The main aim of this thesis is to describe and analyze in detail the impact of demographic trends on primary schools funding. For the analysis a district Ostrava - Jih, which belongs to the city of Ostrava in Moravian-Silesian Region was elected. On this basis of facts mentioned, it was found that the relationship between the development of basic education and demographic development should not only be of interest to demographers, but above all by the founders of primary and nursery schools at various levels. Given that forecasts of the development trend in the number of live births from 2014 to 2020 predict a declining development and at the same time the capacity of primary schools are currently considerably unused, the department of education should think about a set of measures that will be directed to sensitive optimal utilization of its network of schools in the upcoming period. For the analysis of various developmental indicators a methods of analysis, synthesis and time series on which there is an overall assessment of demographic trends effect on basic education in the district Ostrava - South were used.
