Abstract

This Master Thesis is focused on calculation of solar radiation on photovoltaic systems and their visualization in 2D and 3D environment. In the introductory part is attention devoted to photovoltaic systems, namely to the description of existing tools: Photovoltaic Geographical Information System and application PVsyst. The content of the second, theoretical, part is description of elevation input data - ASTER GDEM version 2 and own terrain shading data, their calculation. This part also described calculations of deployment, optimal distance and orientation of photovoltaic constructions, and calculations of distance and height by using mobile phone. Last, the practical part of this thesis is focused on the development and testing of custom applications, desktop, web and mobile. In conclusion of this part is custom solution compared with the existing tools.
