Zajištění státní správy na úrovni statutárního města

Abstract

This bachelor theses describes functioning of public administration, its basic relations that form the public administration. The leading topic is the type of public administration existing in the Czech Republic, which is the "mixed model", the thesis presents its definition and description of its application. Second chapter introduces the history of municipal government in the territory of the Czech Republic, legal principles of public administration, analyses of the mixed model, definition of the delegated competency and differentiation of extent of the delegated competency, characteristics of the notion "municipality" and municipal government in the statutory city. The third and the fourth chapter give a practical example of performance of state administration as a delegated competency at the municipal council of the statutory city Olomouc, which was the purpose of the theses.
