Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the methods and assessment of the redevelopment of the main pumping station at the Bílina mine. In the first few chapters I focused on introducing this issue. It is important to realize that the undesirable influence that accompanies the use of the pit at the surface mine is the settling of sediments and their subsequent disposal. The remediation of the said space does not consist merely in the transfer of unwanted semi-liquid sludge, which does not guarantee the required load capacity and would significantly affect the stability of the internal dump body. In the paper, I have described three possible ways of disposing of sludge sediment. This is a mechanical balancing and subsequent drying in a natural way in the cassettes on the body of the internal dump. It is also possible to solidify the sludge "in situ" directly in the main pumping station area by means of the ALLU mixing device, which is described in detail in the work and added binder. Here I compare cement 32.5 and DASTIT (byproduct energy product). I also evaluate all of these ways of remediation and consider the pros and cons of each variant. In the main part there is a technical-economic ecological evaluation and selection of the most suitable variant. In conclusion to sum up all the knowledge gained.
