Vlastnosti biokompatibilních hořčíkových slitin s obsahem Zn, Ca a Mn pro traumatologické aplikace

Abstract

The work is focused on the properties of biodegradable magnesium alloys containing calcium, zinc and manganese. The theoretical part specifies the properties of Mg alloys for use in traumatology, the influence of alloying elements, heat treatment and surface treatment on the properties of these materials is described here. Furthermore, the principles of degradation and evaluation methods are outlined. In the practical part, two cast ingots Mg-Ca-Zn and Mg-Ca-Zn-Mn were prepared. Both were homogenization annealed, a part of the cast Mg-Ca-Zn alloy was processed by the ECAP. The chemical composition of the alloys was determined by EDX. The samples were subjected to structural analysis using optical and scanning electron microscopy. Furthermore, their corrosion behaviour in Ringer's and physiological solutions was evaluated, both by electrochemical - potentiodynamic test and by exposure - immersion test.
