Případová studie havárie tramvají ve Vřesině

Abstract

The bachelor thesis is aimed at processing and evaluation of available information regarding collision of trams in Vřesina followed by intervention of individual units of the Integrated rescue system at the point of accident. The first part of the paper deals with tram transport in Ostrava, its history and presence including the fleet. Moreover, the track of the tram line No. 5 is described here, including the point of accident and cause of its occurrence. The second part describes the system of intervention as viewed by particular units of the Integrated rescue system. The final part of the bachelor thesis evaluates the obtained results and potential proposals on the Information Rescue System readiness improvement.
