Měření výkonnostních parametrů optické sítě GPON

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá technologií gigabitové pasivní optické sítě, která slouží pro rychlý přenos dat v telekomunikačních přístupových sítích. Cílem práce je sestavení a konfigurace sítě GPON s VLC/IP-DVB streamerem včetně měření parametrů na této topologii. V teoretické části práce je popsána gigabitová pasivní optická síť a její obecné fungování. Praktická část se zabývá konfigurací jednotlivých zařízení v síti a šíření datového toku z VLC/IP-DVB streameru přes gigabitovou pasivní optickou síť na koncové zařízení. Pokročilá kvalitativní měření na této síti jsou provedena dle doporučení ITU-T Y.1564, RFC 2544 a RFC 6349 měřicími přístroji značky EXFO. Závěrem jsou vyhodnoceny výsledky měření dle uvedených doporučení.

In this bachelor thesis I deal with a technology of the Gigabit Passive Optical Network which is used as a fast data transmission in a telecommunications access network. The aim of the thesis is to construct and configure the GPON with a VLC/IP-DVB streamer and to measure parameters of this topology. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the Gigabit Passive Optical Network and its general functionality. The practical part deals with the configuration of particular devices in the network and the video streaming from the VLC/IP-DVB streamer through the Gigabit Passive Optical Network to the end device. The advanced qualitative measurement on this network was accomplished according to the recommendations by ITU-T Y.1564, RFC 2544 and RFC 6349 by the measuring devices of the EXFO brand. In conclusion the results of the measuring were evaluated according to the mentioned recommendations.
