Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis was to create a functional prototype of an external defibrillator for safe use in a school environment from the CS4056 by Corscience module. This diploma thesis first deals with the effects of electric current on the human body. It also studies the issues related to defibrillation de-vices and their functions with a detailed analysis. The practical part deals with the progresssive comple-tion of a functional defibrillation device together with the creation of a software implemented in the LabVIEW program. At the end, the measurement of defibrillation pulses on the tester of defibrillators FLUKE IMPULZE 7000dp is compared to commercial devices with the resulting evaluation of the meas-ured values.
