Abstract
This masters thesis is focused on influence of heat treatment to microstructure and mechanical properties of superalloy IN 738LC. The teoretical part contains base informations about nickel based superalloys. There is also given basic division according to the technology of production, influence of alloying elements to properties and microstructure and also there is described structural phases, which these materials may contains. At the end of the theoretical part is briefly described method of investment casting and there i salso describe typical heat treatment methods for IN 738LC are also provided. Practical part describe structural and mechanical properties of studied samples. Tensile test, Vickesr and Rockwell hardness test, study of microstructure using optical and scanning electron microscope, EDX analysis, porosity measurement and fractographic analysis was made for analyzis of examined materials. Based on the results of the analysis, the materiál that is most appropriate at elevated temperatures and in demandig environments was selected.
