Abstract

The diploma thesis will focus on designing a modern elementary school at the intersection of Černá louka and Karolina, in close proximity to the center of Ostrava. The aim of the thesis is to propose a school that will reflect innovative educational methods and approaches to 21st-century teaching. From an urbanistic perspective, the school will reflect the diversity of the surroundings in connection with urban development, and will also strive to create an area not only for education but also for life by incorporating various natural elements of the landscape.
