Abstract

The bachelor`s thesis investigates the causes and consequences of the stress reaction of professional firefighters during the alert publication. It is also dealing with the issue of stress, stress adaptation and describes the main stressors that can act on the firefighters. The most common symptoms of stress and basic techniques and anti-stress activities for effective stress control are described in the bachelor`s thesis. This bachelor`s thesis is also dealing with the requests that are placed on the firefighters during admissions and the requests relating to the service performance. It is also focused on training, psychic ability of the firefighter and on the ways of alert publication to unit. The causes and consequences of the stress reaction of firefighters during the alert publication were then investigated with the help of the questionnaire.
