Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find an optimal solution in terms of the valuation method and stock management in the company Fojtík Bakery Ltd. In the introductory part, the basic concepts of logistics are outlined here focusing on stock and including its classification and possible methods of its valuation. The following part aims to the management and analysis of stock. The ABC analysis, with its basis in the Pareto principle, is explained here in detail. The ABC analysis is provided in the practical part. It is followed by the comparison of the current system of stock valuation in group A of the company with the FIFO method. A new warehouse stock card is designed here as well. The final part is devoted to the specific final proposals and recommendations for the company.
