Finanční benchmarking společnosti GO Steel a.s. a vybraného konkurenčního podniku

Abstract

Předmětem diplomové práce je finanční benchmarking vybraných finančních ukazatelů a souhrnných indexů hospodaření hutní společnosti GO Steel a.s. Pro srovnání ve stejném průmyslovém odvětví byla zvolena společnost ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Karviná a.s. V první části práce je představena společnost, charakterizována finanční analýza a její metody a teoreticky vymezen benchmarking. V druhé části práce je provedena finanční analýza zvolených ukazatelů a pomocí finančního benchmarkingu se srovnávají výsledné hodnoty pro zhodnocení finančního zdraví. Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat a porovnat finanční ukazatele a na základě této analýzy navrhnout opatření, které povedou ke zlepšení finančního zdraví společnosti GO Steel a.s.

The subject of the diploma thesis is the financial benchmarking of selected financial indicators and summary indices of management of the metallurgical company GO Steel a.s. ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Karviná a.s. was selected for comparison in the same industry. In the first part of the thesis, the company is introduced, financial analysis and its methods are characterized, and benchmarking is theoretically defined. In the second part of the thesis, a financial analysis of the selected indicators is carried out and the resulting values are compared using financial benchmarking to evaluate financial health. The aim of the thesis is to analyze and compare financial indicators and, based on this analysis, propose measures that will lead to the improvement of the financial health of GO Steel a.s.
