Srovnání parametrů a funkcí L3 přepínačů Huawei a Cisco

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá srovnáním parametrů a funkcí L3 přepínačů dvou různých výrobců – Huawei a Cisco. Nejprve se zde dočtete podrobné informace o konkrétních zařízeních, které byly používány při praktickém ověřování kompatibility různých funkcí. Jedná se především o bližší informace o specifických vlastnostech a možnostech těchto zařízení, o jejich možném využití v reálných sítích, o hardwarových parametrech a v neposlední řadě i o jejich softwarové výbavě. Další částí této práce je popis a rozbor čtyř vybraných funkcí, které byly na zařízeních obou výrobců testovány. V této části naleznete základní informace o těchto funkcích, o jejich principu fungování a hlavně o praktickém vyzkoušení těchto funkcí. Dočtete se zde, jaké problémy nastaly při jejich konfiguraci, a zda jsou zařízení obou výrobců vzájemně kompatibilní. Obsahem práce jsou rovněž i podrobné návody na konfiguraci zařízení Huawei, která jsou zde méně známá a také celkové zhodnocení a srovnání zařízení výrobců Huawei a Cisco.

This bachelor thesis concerns comparison of parameters and functions of two different producers of L3 switches – Huawei and Cisco. Firstly you can read here detailed information about specific devices which were used in practical verification of compatibility of various functions. It is mainly about specific attributes and possibilities of these devices, about their possible use in real sites, about hardware parameters and about their software too. In the next part of this thesis is description and analysis of four selected functions tested on this devices of the both marks. In this part, you can find the basic information about these functions, about their principle of working and mainly about practical testing of these functions. You can read here which troubles has occurred when the functions were configured and if the devices of the both producers are compatible to each other. This thesis contains detailed instructions of configuration of Huawei devices too which are less known, and complete evaluation and comparison of devices from producers Huawei and Cisco.
