Abstract

This bachelor thesis called „Do I exist?“ is about history and evolution of angelic theme. The aim of this work was to create a statue of an angel. It was created according to my own design with methaphorical representation of my initials in the form of a musical instrument. The bachelor thesis consists of two parts. First is theoretical and the second one is practical. The theoretical part deals with displaying angelic themes through the Gothic, Renesaince, Menarism and Baroque history. Furthermore the thesis consist of the main hierarchy betwen angels. The practical part includes the production of the custom bronze, iron and aluminium pattern, from the drafting stage throught the preparation of the model, creation of the mold itself and casting to finishing the actual statue.
