Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to generalize the procedure of recovery of the mine adit called Nikolaus after a professional research has been done and to consequently assess any possibilities of opening it for public, the tunnel being situated in the town of Hora Svaté Kateřiny in the Krušné Mountains. The thesis includes elaborated way on how to continue the legislative procedure for recovery of this tunnel and the recommendation of security measures. Primarily I drew the information from my own experience as a leader of mining and remediation work. I cooperated with the company Geofond Kutná Hora to obtain data related to a concrete underground excavation. Another source of information was an archive DIAMO Příbram. The written thesis also introduces a brief summary of basic mining norms and regulations which must be kept while working underground. The detailed description of spilling used in special cases of excavation.

The conclusion deals with the solution of possible accessibility for schema_dspacedb. The appendix introduces a wide choice of photographic material.
