Abstract
This thesis deals with the impact of subsidies on financing Rapotin village, which is located near the town Šumperk. The theoretical part describes the status of municipalities in the system of public power, defined by the municipal authorities, municipal economy and tax revenue in the Czech Republic. In the practical part is an analysis of the municipality in 2007 - 2011. The aim is to evaluate the effect of subsidies on the economy of the municipality, especially to determine what proportion of subsidies represent the total revenue of the village.
