Vlastnosti svítivých diod jako fotodetektorů

Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with the properties of semiconductor LEDs in use as photodetectors. LEDs can beused as photodiodes (photodetectors), because they have a very similar structure and also have a PN junction on which the light radiation can fall. The measurement of LEDs was the objective of present thesis and the impact of the light signal on their detection characteristics was found out. The light signal was used as the LEDs and sunlight. In the bachelor thesis physical phenomena was validated by energy absorption, spontaneous emission power and internal photoelectric effect. The bachelor thesis also explains the conditions that allow the detection and emitting of light.
