Abstract

The subject of this Diploma thesis is to point out and meet with key factors that affect the life and operation of conveyor belts. The work refers to a system consisting of a belt conveyor and the conveyor belt itself with the individual factors that significantly affect the length of the operation and use of conveyor belts in a quarry operation. It is all about identifying the particular factors together with the draft operational solutions to enhance durability, serviceability and financial aspects of the operation of conveyor belts.
