Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with the efficiency of removal of organic substances at the biological treatment plant in the company DEZA a.s. In the theoretical part is described a brief characterization of the waste water and the way waste water are cleaned. The technology section deals with industrial waste water in the company and current technologies for this wastewater treatment. Practical part is devoted to laboratory work on real waters from biological WWTP. This is about the chemical oxygen demand, the biological oxygen demand and the subsequent assessment of the efficiency of the removal of organic substances in biological WWTP.
