Abstract
The thesis is focused on flood preparedness of Litovel. The work includes basic characteristics of the territory with an overview of the most vulnerable places, and describes the work of the institutions involved in flood measures. The main factor is the comparison of the situation that was before the flood in 1997 to the present. Output of this work is the overall assessment of the current and proposed flood preparedness measures.
