Abstract

Thesis discusses, the evacuation of the road tunnel, the use of modeling specific events in the tunnel, calculations and computer programs and assess their significance and accuracy. The work is divided into 4 parts. The first part describes the general tunnel construction site and its safety equipment according to relevant standards and regulations. It also deals with ways of evacuation in a tunnel and events in which the evacuation was necessary. The second part deals with the calculation of specific scenarios evacuation according to standards. In the third part describes the modeling of a concrete example of the evacuation program FDS+Evac (Fire Dynamics Simulator with Evacuation) in a graphical extension PyroSim. The last part compares the results of calculations and models, and also evaluates the shortcomings in the evacuation.
