Abstract
This thesis focuses on selected regions, which are Moravskoslezsky, Olomoucky, Zlínsky and Jihomoravsky. The aim of this thesis is to determine from what part of the region, selected expenditure areas, converted to per inhabitant share of the total expenditure for the years 2005 - 2009. The theoretical part deals with the general public administration, and the county budget process. The practical part focuses on the region and their economy in the years 2005 - 2009. Furthermore, selected expenditure areas are in individual regions (transportation, education, culture, health service, environment, social matters, territorial development and municipal services) converted per inhabitant, or km2 and they are compared with one another.
