The theoretical part describes ionizing radiation - division, sources, types and quantities. This section includes the division of ionizing radiation detectors and the principles and objectives of radiation protection. The practical part describes sources of ionizing radiation, which are present at the Clinic of Nuclear Medicine FN Ostrava. Description of contaminated waste storage, results from dose rate measurement and design of measures to ensure workers' radiation protection.
