Abstract
In this work, are reflected the current state of the transmission system in the Czech Republic and its future modernization and expansion due to increasing consumption of electricity in the northeastern Czech Republic, the growing number of renewable energy sources connected to the electricity system and in particular to the requirements of the electricity market. The objective of this thesis is to theoretically describe the electricity grid, transient phenomena in it and their calculation. Further describe the current state of the transmission system and its possible renewal and extension of the technical and financial possibilities of service, reliability, requirements for suppliers and purchasers of electricity. It should be noted that the increasing electricity consumption on the one hand, and the planned development of renewable energy on the other hand, places significant demands on the transmission system, its capabilities and reliability.
