Abstract

GAMONOVA, Patricie. Case study of COVID-19 disease. [Bachelor thesis]. Ostrava: VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering, 2021. 48 p. The bachelor thesis deals with case study of COVID-19 disease. It defines concepts in the field of population protection, crisis law and pandemics. The work also describes the history of epidemics and pandemics that have affected humanity since ancient times. Subsequently, there is a description of COVID-19 and its course in the world and in the Czech Republic. The last part of the thesis presents an analysis of the emergency and crisis measures taken in the Czech Republic, an analysis of the possibility of applying the crisis and related crisis measures and a comparison of the basic results of the problem.
