Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with Building information modeling technology, BIM. The purpose of this work is to describe what BIM is and how to visualize this technology in an augmented reality.
The first part is devoted to the basic characteristics of BIM. This chapter deals with the definition and explanation of the BIM concept, how this technology expands and is supported by legislation. Here are presented the advantages and disadvantages that arise during the implementation. The diploma thesis also reflects the historical development and looks at the current situation in the Czech Republic.
The second part of the diploma thesis deals with the analysis of software and hardware tools for working with BIM. Here it is explained what augmented reality is.
Respective work deals with the demonstration of BIM visualization in the operative state of the building. Visualization is solved by an augmented reality with Microsoft Hololens glasses.
The conclusion of the thesis is an evaluation of this visualization method.
