Abstract

This thesis is focused on biogas plants, its principles, possibilities in terms of future projects, connections and utilization. Introduction mentions the history of the development of biogas technology. The following chapter focuses on the very essence of biogas, its creation and technological processing and biomass. The work also contains a general description of the individual parts of a biogas plant together with the photos that I personally took in the biogas plant in Klokocov. We can find legislation relating to connection and operation of biogas plants and my selected legislation that impressed me the most. The work focuses on the possibilities and potential of the plants themselves, such as inclusion in Smart Grids, or biomethane production. In the last chapter you will find a list of some economic aspects and impacts on the environment and surroundings. In conclusion, a comprehensive view of all these points and especially the possibility of biogas plants and their ecology.
