The topic of the diploma thesis is the solution of heating with heat pumps and ventilation of a mountain guesthouse. The thesis is divided as needed for the implementation project, as stipulated by Decree on Construction Documentation No. 499/2006 Coll. [1]. as amended. The main part of the work is focused on the heating and ventilation of the designed building. The first part of the thesis consists of the architectural construction solution of the building using building materials with good thermal insulation properties. The second part of the thesis is focused on the calculation and design of heating using heat pumps and air-conditioning equipment in the building. Furthermore, to calculate the thermal technical properties of individual constructions, thermal technical evaluation of critical building details, heat losses, heat balance, hot water needs and assessment of the building's energy efficiency certificat.
