Hodnocení finančního zdraví podniku v automobilovém průmyslu

Abstract

Financial analysis is the main tool of financial management for evaluation of the company’s financial condition. This evaluation is absolutely necessary in present unstable economic environment. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the financial health of the company operating in automotive industry with the help of selected methods of financial analysis. The bachelor thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The practical part is focused on the characteristics of financial analysis, its users, information resources and, last but not least, the analysis of selected methods of financial analysis. Specifically, it focuses on horizontal and vertical analysis, analysis of ratios of liquidity, profitability, indebtedness, activity and analysis through bankruptcy and creditworthy models. Practical part introduces the company Brose CZ Ltd., thereafter is made an analysis of this company, which uses the methods of financial analysis mentioned in the theoretical part and the information contained in the annual reports of the company. In conclusion of the work, the findings of the financial analysis are summarized and proposed possible solutions to improve the financial situation of the company.
