Abstract

The master’s thesis is focused on elaborating of the general scenario of the flood course and the working of the integrated rescue system and flood committees in each phases of the natural flood. First part of the thesis is focused on description and explanation of basic terminology. Next part of the thesis deals with description of the tasks of the integrated rescue system during the flood. There are description and evaluation of the big natural floods in the Czech Republic from 1997 to the present in the third part of the thesis. The last part of the thesis deals with creation of the scenario of the general flood and the working of the integrated rescue system and flood committees in each phases of the flood.
