Abstract

Diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of using domestic plums (Prunus domestica), as an adsorbent, which can be used for biosorption removed heavy metal from the model solution of chromium Cr+VI. Work provides a detailed description of the methods of preparation biosorbents for heavy metal biosorption itself, both in physics, also from the chemical point of view. For chemical activation of domestic plums (Prunus domestica) have been identified as an activation reagent sodium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid 0,1 mol/l, 1 mol/l, 2 mol/l. To compare the results of a comparative sample was activated with distilled water. The interpretation of the results was used mathematical model of Langmuir isotherm.
