Srovnání výkonnosti akcií vybraných finančních institucí

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the performance of four financial institutions. The first part of the thesis introduces a topic of principles of financial markets and deals with the issue of the stocks in detail. In this part there are several methods explained on how to measure the performance of stocks. The second part of this thesis introduces rated financial institutions including market index which is used for comparison. The last part applies methods decribed in the first part of the thesis. Stocks of rated institutions were compared on the basis of selected market indicators. There is also used a correlation analysis method so that a relation between the price of stocks and selected indicators can be measured. The period of evaluation is from 2007 to 2017. In the conclusion the results are used for an evaluation and whether or not the investing to these financial institutions is profitable.
