Využití metalurgických strusek k sorpci vybraných polutantů.

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the possibilities of using steel slag as a sorbent for selected heavy metals. These metals are cadmium, chromium and lead. The theoretical part of the thesis describes heavy metals properties, adsorption models aand the applied analytical methods. The production of steel and metallurgical wastes formation was also described. The practical part contains the sample preparation and their characterization, the sorption experiments and their evaluation. The sorption capacity of the slag was determined, and the sorption mechanism was studied.
