Abstract
This thesis deals with image segmentation, which is very often used as one of the steps in sys-tems whose task is to process and analyze images or find or recognize the object. There are a number of algorithms for image processing. We are dealing here with Watershed segmentation algorithm. This algorithm is characterized by speed and such practical deployment of medical images.
