Abstract

The bachelor thesis focuses on addictive substances in the context of the analysis of the current state of drug issues in relation to substance use by adolescents in secondary schools and grammar schools. In the theoretical part, the thesis focuses on the definition of basic concepts related to drug problems and criminality. Furthermore, it deals with the division and description of addictive substances and at the same time with the valid legal legislation and international conventions that govern the Czech Republic in the framework of drug issues. Finally, the thesis deals with drug prevention, including the subjects that carry it out within the public administration. The empirical part of the thesis is devoted to the analysis of substance use in secondary schools and grammar schools, including drug prevention.
