Komparace krizového řízení a Business Continuity Management System

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis examines the comparison of crisis management and business continuity management systems (BCMS) and analyzes their interrelationship and interconnectedness. The theoretical section defines crisis management and BCMS as tools applied at the organizational level, including their principles and tools. The practical section is based on a comparative analysis of selected criteria, supplemented by a point-based and weighted evaluation. The results show that crisis management provides a general framework for preparing for and resolving crisis situations, while BCMS contributes to ensuring business continuity at the organizational level. The thesis also confirms the importance of their interconnection for ensuring societal resilience.
