Skóre pro predikci úspěchu extrakorporální membránové oxygenace (ECMO)

Abstract

This bachelor thesis is based on Ostrava’s hospital requirements. Main purpose of this bachelor thesis is to make basic calculator which will calculate ECMO (Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) score. These scoring systems were developed for helping doctors in decision making process, which patient would have profit from ECMO and who is not the right one for this intervention. This is required because of high mortality of ECMO intervention (as mortality is 60 %). For the thesis it was chosen PRESET and RESP score, as these scores are the best for patients with respiratory diseases. We proposed software for calculating these two scores. User of this software will add parameters and then it will calculate score for prediction mortality risk. Then user can compare these two results and then it will help with decision-making process. This system was tested in Ostrava’s hospital where it will be used as well.
