Abstract

I am dealing with question of social and ethics problems of hiring and selecting employees for the Police of the Czech republic in my thesis. I choose this topic because of I work for Police of the Czech republic. Despite the fact that the admission process for the Police of the Czech republic is explicitly stated that: ,, Hiring of citizen in service can’t be denied because of age, race, skin color, sex, sexual orientation, faith and religion, political or other opinoin, nationality, etnical or social origin, property, genus, maritial and family status or family obligations, as well as by membership of trade unions and other associations with the exception of cases determined by law num. 361/2003 Sb., about service of members of security forces or special law.’’ I believe that each of the candidates should be prepared for this situation and know how the selection process should behave.
