Změna struktury průmyslu v Moravskoslezském kraji a jeho dopady na vybrané ukazatele

Abstract

The thesis is focused on the development of the structure of industry in Moravia-Silesian region. Period of industry development in this region began during Austro-Hungarian monarchy. The work is divided into three chapters. The first part is focused on history of industry in Czech Republic during socialism period. There are descriptions of five-year plans. In this part are captured changes of economy in Czech countries. This chapter also includes the current industrial policy of Czech Republic specialized on the period after entry to European Union. In the second chapter you can find information about interconnection between Moravia-Silesian region and industry. In next part of the thesis is written about influence of media on the region and about trying to get better in image. The third part is focused on macroeconomic indicators, which are under influence of structural changes of industry. It examines population in the region and its reduction. Next important part of this document is unemployment development in the region. There are mentioned the changes of gross domestic product of the region. This data are expressed in share to the indicators of whole Czech Republic. The last part of this thesis is focused on influence of Nosovice industrial zone to the economy of region. And there is a description of OKD company influence.
