Abstract
This thesis deals with social and economic analysis of the Italian regions at NUTS level 2. There are described basic information about Italy, spatial layout, location and also the character of each region. The task was to highlight disparities between regions in terms of demographic and economic. More details are therefore highlighted disparities regions according to several indicators. Indicators to be compared as the unemployment rate, GDP per capita, currency or natural population.
