Abstract

The bachelor's thesis is focused on the state administration at the level of economic competition. Its aim is the evaluation of control activities and management of the Office for the Protection of Competition from 2017 to 2021. Part of this work is an analysis aimed at evaluating the results of contril activities. Here, in particular, their intensity in individual areas is monitored, and also management of the entrusted funds where their structure and development is mentioned. The theoretical part of the work focuses on imperfect competition and the market failure. Subsequently is defined the regulation of economic competition, further on, the institutional protection of economic competition is analysed, the control activities are described, the role of the state administration and the Office for the Protection of Competition is explained. In the practical part you can find the evaluation of the results of the control activities done by the Office for the Protection of Competition from 2017 to 2021 and also its management of financial resourses.
