Abstract

The thesis is focused on the issue of the external extraction sites of the public water supply system. The introduction deals with a theoretical analysis of the water supply system and kinds of external extraction sites. The main body of this work describes a possible design of the external extraction sites in the Czech Republic in comparison with the foreign ones. The particular design of these sites is adopted in the city Vyškov. Other parts of the thesis deal with different methods of the hydraulic verification of the efficiency of external extraction sites. In the last part are introduced possibilities of the use of the map and digital sources for the fire brigades to help them more efficiently find external extraction sites. More specifically, it is focused on the use of modern information communication technology GPS navigation and tablets. The results of the thesis might be used as an example design of the external extraction sites and further employed in the information communication technology.
