Abstract

This diploma thesis examines the influence of the addition of blast furnace slag as a latent hydraulic binder in cement mortar. The aim of the study was to determine the effect on the volume changes. For its determination, the method of measurement with Shrinkage-Drains was used. The experiment included seven mortars with different ratio of cement and slag and reference cement mortar. Measurements were carried out simultaneously on two samples with different environments that simulate the difference between treated and untreated concrete.
