Abstract
The objective of this Bachelor Thesis is to identify the importance of the Non-formal Education and its support from the European Union’s action programme “Youth in Action”. It is also focused on the usage and impact of the programme in the Czech Republic.
For this purpose the Thesis is divided into five chapters.
The first and the fifth chapter are an introduction and a conclusion. The second chapter contains determination of the European Union’s Educational policy and its development and description of the components of the education system. The third chapter aims at the description of the programme’s objectives and principles and also at its structure. The fourth chapter is focused on the programme’s application requirements and on the statistics of the submitted applications and its success in the Czech Republic.
