Abstract

The subject of the solution in the Master thesis is the territory of the workers’ colony ‘Zimný důl’ in the cadastral territory of the town of Orlová. The aim of the Master thesis is to use the workers’ colony as a space for living across generations and socio-economic groups, using the potential of rural family life in the city. It deals with the possibility of reconstruction of existing family houses and the design of new buildings in the existing urban structure.
