Abstract

This work seeks to clearly show the principle of security to wireless networks using VPN. The work includes brief basic security techniques that are commonly used in wireless networks. In addition, different types of authentication as user name and password, and using certificates. Non omit chapter are the encryption of data transfer method, which uses a VPN, as a needed means of security of transmitted data. This paper describes from the beginning the current use VPN, advantages or disadvantages and to the subsequent chapters deals with the use of VPN technology on the wireless medium. Effects of the use of this technology, safety and speed of data transmission, the hardware configuration on the network, or the complexity of management network. Most of the images in this work are created in DiaCze. These pictures are clearly trying to sketch verbally described wiring diagrams or data processing in the communication network.
