Abstract

This thesis focuses on modifications of blasting according to the type of explosive in use. The first part of thesis describes the history of quarry, its geological and hydrogeological features, its present state and material utilization. Next part deals with description of blasting state followed by plans of new parameters according to the explosives and detonators in use. The technical, economical and ecological assessment follows. The final part brings suggestion of future process at Kotouč Štramberk quarry to maximize and improve all indices of blasting.
