Abstract

The diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of the pairing line with the aim to design and implement measures leading to the efficiency of the production process of pairing sheet piles in the company VÍTKOVICE STEEL, a.s. The work is divided into two parts, namely the theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part deals with the introduction of VÍTKOVICE STEEL, a.s., and at the same time describes the theoretical basis of logistics and production planning in the company. The practical part analyzes the organization and control of production on a pairing line using a spaghetti diagram. Subsequently, improvement of sheet pile pairing processes is proposed, which leads to an increase in the production capacity of the line. The changes are then evaluated using the OEE method.
