Výzkum spokojenosti zaměstnanců v uhelných společnostech těžební skupiny

Abstract

The thesis is focused on the research of employee satisfaction of two coal companies of the mining group in the region of Ústí nad Labem. In the theoretical part I deal with topics related to work, human resource management, work performance, satisfaction, motivation and stimulation, a questionnaire survey, including all the implementation steps associated with it. A separate chapter contains the characteristics of coal companies of the mining group. The characteristics of the companies are complemented by a description of the statutory and supervisory bodies, a basic organizational chart and an overview of the personnel area and basic economic indicators of coal companies. The next part of the thesis describes the evaluation of employee satisfaction, including the preparatory phase, creating a questionnaire, setting hypotheses, the actual implementation of the survey, hypothesis testing and comparative analysis of the information obtained. Based on the data acquired, proposals and recommendations of management were created to adjust individual factors affecting employee satisfaction. Within the diploma thesis, one of the five stated hypotheses was confirmed and four were disproven. There were no statistically significant differences found amongst the responses of the employees of the coal companies.
